Portrait of Rémi Chenu
Profile

Rémi Chenu

Mechanical engineer and founder of three bicycle companies. Twenty years turning needs into manufactured products by choosing and managing the factories.

In short

What I bring to a project

Factory-floor experience

I have had carbon frames, wheels, complete bikes and circuit boards made in China, Italy, Poland and France. I know what a factory can deliver and what must be locked down before placing an order.

A business owner's view

I have run my own companies, up to 12 employees and €3M in revenue. I think in unit cost, cash flow and lead times, not only in technical specs.

The full product cycle

Design, supplier selection, negotiation, prototypes, tooling, production, supply: I have handled every step myself.

One direct contact

I work on my own, from Gap in the French Alps, and travel to manufacturers when the project requires it. You always know who is doing the work.
